2D Class Week 05: Silhouettes

This week we focused on creating silhouettes for either environments, characters, vehicles, or props.

The hand out given to us.
I really enjoy environment work, so I decided to create some towers.
I also wanted to explore weapon designs, so I drew out some swords as well.

3D Class Week 02 Assignment: Minecraft-ish Level

Continuing the use of simple geometry, the project of this week involved building a Minecraft-like level.

My model with UV and texture applied.

Using the texture layout (leftmost), I made texture maps for all of the materials I needed: dirt, grass, water, and rock. I also made adjustment layers to get a variation in the brightness and darkness of my materials.

Shots of my level including all of the materials and textures used.
