3D Class Week 11: Creating A Medium Complexity Character Part 02 Sculpting

This week we brought our model from Maya into Zbrush to sculpt.

The first part involved projecting the 2D concept views onto the model to get the landmark details.

We created a brush to use on the model and made a unique icon for it.

This is the Zbrush sculpt of my king starfish without all of his accessories.

This is my starfish sculpt with his accessories.

  1. The shapes on the crown and staff feel unfinished at this point. The medium level details are starting to show up. We could spend more energy on the eyes, teeth and then tie all the medium and smaller level details together. Hit up the cape as well.
