3D Class Week 10: Concept Discovery With 3D

This week we were tasked to use Maya as a concepting tool. Using toon shaders, we showed our pieces in an illustrative look.

Gravestone research.

Gravestones for the ending area of our forest.

Mushroom research. I looked at the shaggy mane mushroom for its color and textures.

Mushrooms that would appear in our area of the forest.

For the fence, I wanted to link the gnarled look of the trees with the fence.
As the player goes further through the forest, the fence gets less and less composed.
